Agree....So what was the fill plug on the passenger side that said ATF for? ...An still confused why both front a rear fill holes said "GEAR OIL" for the drivers side.

Ok 2 fill holes driver side both say gear oil I put LSD 90 in front one an what yous are saying is the back one uses ATF even though it says gear oil? I just wanna get it right that's all.

Now that I look at the picture it looks like I did it right ATF is on otherwise of that middle plate gear oil other side...What I was asking if those 2 same fill holes for the gear oil had the same purpose just choose if you wanted to use front hole or back hole.

You only use the ports shown in the picture I attached. I don't know what any of the other ports connect to. My general approach is to follow the FSM as closely as possible.

That's what I did exactly what that pic shows I guess me wondering if them 2 gear oil fill holes are the same for the same purpose will haft to wait even though I read it was on another form I just wanted to make sure even though I still used the front one...... 1.I did it correctly an 2. No do not add ATF to that rear gear oil plug I think them 2 guys we're confused.

There's a good chance that the other one is also a fill port, maybe for cars with different directions of easy access, but I try to avoid making assumptions of that sort, on the off chance that the other one, which might look like a fill port, is actually a bolt that holds something inside. It would be, um, sub-optimal if you had to tear the diff casing apart because you pulled the wrong bolt.

True that man.... And like my first post says this is confusing..Even though I got it right.. also glad I didn't go an add ATFIII in there like some said... I guess not many noticed or asked about it idk.
