Hey guys, coming up on 22k on my gsr, its going on 3 years old looking to change all the fluids, what needs to be changed? and what fluids do you recommend? Thanks

 

You will probably want to change

5 Speed Transmission Fluid
Transfer Case oil
Rear Diff LSD gear oil
Rear Diff ATF fluid (this is what the AYC clutch plates sit in)

The rear diff has two fill plugs, one for each fluid type. A lot of people get confused over this. The ATF fluid in the rear diff is separate from the pressurized ATF fluid that runs through the pump/solenoids in the AYC/ACD setup. The pump/solenoid fluid is what is fed by the little bottle in your trunk. You do not need to change this.

I recommend stock fluid from Mitsu for everything, with the exception of the 5 speed tranny fluid if that floats your boat. A lot of people like Redline 85 weight fluid or a similar blend of fluid weights.
