Problem after TWM gear selector bushing installed

Here is a video that shows my problem.
I made sure I greased every possible moving parts during the installation.
I think the problem is that, the pivot bushing is snug fit on the piece that is rotating around the pivot pin.
Before I put bushing in the piece that is rotating around pivot, the bushing fits on on the pin perfectly. However, the bushing is a lil bigger than the hole that it needs to go in.
Per DIYs and TWM instruction, I need to use hammer to snug the bushing in the hole. So it did that with slight force and I made sure I dont damage anything.
Now here came the problem: I found the ring fits the pivot pin VERY VERY tight.
I think this is what caused my problem in the video.
Is this normal? Does it just need some use to break- in ?
Do I need to use sand paper to make the pivot pin narrower?
I wiggled the shifter left to right very frequently , it seems a lil better now.
I really don't remember I did anything wrong.
Everyone I saw on here claimed how awesome this product is. I never saw any review mentioned this problem before here.... If I knew this... I might have just left it alone.
Can anyone help me with this?
