2014 oil change interval weird?!?

Does it matter what dealer you take it to to get the oil changed? Can you, for instance, go to a Chevy dealer? or membership warehouse? etc.

^If you're going to do that, I recommend you buy the filter/oil yourself and have whoever you choose do the work. Some places might use any filter that will screw on, but not be the right one for the application. I've seen it. Also, you never know what oil they might throw in there.

I change my oil on my cars with royal purple ever 3000 miles/1 year. Especially if you convert it to E85. I honestly do change my truck oil every 5000 though its a V8 not a turbo �� I wonder why you have a problem taking care of your car, and what scares me is when do you plan on changing your spark plugs? Best of luck with the car.

I have a 14'. Just did an oil change. When you reset it the reminder it defaults to 3,000. If you go in to do it a second time you can change it to remind you at 5000mi./24months. Its a preference thing.
