i don't think i would get the letter since I did not buy my 11 new, but it still applies to me, correct?

Probably could just call and give the dealer your VIN number. Either that or wait a little longer you might get a letter. I just got mine last week.

Received the letter in the mail today.

New or used, modded or not, doesn't matter. It's a recall. They have to fix it.

Agreed! I work for Toyota and we do recalls from a couple years ago. If its not done, they have to do it.

Apparently this hose comes loose and could possibly cause fire. No reports yet of anyone having a problem but it is active for 2014's made between a certain period. Affects about 150 total cars only

From what the recall said, it was only 2014 models, and only affected 146 vehicles total, so you just have to ask you dealer if there's any active recalls for your 2011. Or past ones that weren't taken care of. That's why I save all my paperwork. It won't cost you anything so why not check anyways.

Had this recall done a few days ago....they replaced the belt only..not the pulleys.
