I took my car to get an oil change,I asked about the recall. They told me after an hour wait that I should comeback later.I got a bunch of excuses for two weeks apparently the car was making a loud noise. They ended up replacing my water pump, timing chain they almost changed my alternator. There is a noise that I hear from my engine its not that loud but it wasn't there from before. So I ended up getting a free water pump plus timing chain my car has 53k miles so i saved some money for my 60k service thrte is still a noise when my car is idle.I hope when I do get my 60k service it will go away.My car was the first one they worked on for the recall at that particular dealership.

Just got my car back from the dealer here is what was left of my idler pulley. I've never seen anything like this and there was no indication that anything was wrong, no squealing no nothing. I have no idea how my belt stayed on. The mechanic at Mitsubishi was baffled.

after the dealership replaced the recalled parts I feel like I have a loss of power in 1st and half way through 2nd. Do I need a re tune or did the dealership screw up the timing?
