In a perfect world... I had initially bought the X with the intent to drive it daily, but was given a work vehicle that I took home, so it was more like every other week when I didn't have some family function that my wife setup for us to attend.

Oh well, I've been very happy with the X MR... but I am feeling the itch to move on myself. Something with 2 doors this time.

lmao he's the one who is the fanboy. When did I say the nine was the best car ever made? I do recall him saying "the x is faster than the ix" which is childish and a fanboy statement which is why I called him out on it. Everyone knows the ix was faster from factory than the x.

I like the x a lot it's a great evo gen but it WAS built weaker from factory, sorry. Then he proceeds to dump tons of links showing events where the x has won. I never said anything that was not true or Didn't make sense.

Blackmamba do you even know that robrs is a professional rally driver and his evo x has seen more off-road than most people's jeeps

Ps another fact is that if you check nurburgring times you will see stock evo x beating stock evo ix for lap times. You also state that robrs only posted articles of evo x winning well isint that interesting that evo ixs are faster by your opinion yet a slower evo x has won a championship

This statement is false.

The CZ4A was developed in 06 and 07 with Gruppe-N specs in mind. The car was built around those rules. Unfortunately, a lot of that documentation has gone the way of the dodo as they were mainly on ralliart.jp, but I have some of it if you're interested. From the Gruppe-N spec documents before the X was released to the public, to aero dynamic tests for downforce. This car was built for one thing in mind in the beginning, and that was rally.

A lot of the "daily driver" refinements came later. Both cars are race cars, end of story.

As to the original post

I've had 3 CT9As, and 2 CZ4As. Both are great cars. My wife has a gorgeous 20k mile IX MR SE. I love that car. The transmission is the exact manual I'd want in all of my cars. I love the nimbleness of the car.

With that being said, I'll take a X on the track any day of the week. And it's mainly because of AYC. I can corner harder in my Xs than my VIII and IXs any day of the week. Is it assisted? Yah. Is it a preference? Yah.

I also prefer the SST on the track as well. Don't run it in auto-mode, go super sport manual and rip up any manual car on the track. End of the day, the goal is faster lap times on the track. The SST and AYC provide that while becoming a smoother driver.

Both cars are great, both cars will yield the same end result. It is easier to get a nice X than it is a nice IX right now, and that is a big deciding factor. I got lucky and had a showroom IX land in my lap so pounced on it.

Yes the cz4a was built with with rally in mind and has turned into a conventional daily car unfortunately, but again back to the main argument, the ct9a made for a better more raw rally car. Its funny that blackmamba cared enough to comment earlier and spread his bs but now that he has no ammunition and everyone has showed more than enough proof hes going to throw the I don't care flag. Sound to me like someone is a little butthurt that his dream car is-int be all end all of evos. For the record I like all generations of evos I prefer the X but what you wont see me doing is going into the evo IX forums and troll there touting how much my car is better be it DD, Track, Rally.

 

 

Yall should compare tested evo x s-Awc to evo ix and others like sh-awd,Subaru symmetrical awd systems.
