30k service maintenance

Apologies for posting an old topic. Last one in this category was april 2014. Im in dallas at this moment waiting for my 2014 evo for its 30k service. Ive always been impressed with the plano dealership and has had work done here numerous times. Today, they quoted me 1000 dollars out the door for the whole service. Change fluids incl. tranny fluid, change tranny filter, change belt (main?), drain replace coolant, oil and filter change, rotate/balance wheels, and check other stuff.
I feel like I have a big "S" stamped on my forehead. A colonoscopy may be better than this.
Feedback anybody? May make me feel better. I don't think it can be any worse.
Should they change plugs too? Anything else they should replace?
Thanks.

PS. They quoted me 600 to 800 before they suggested to change tranny filter and (?main) belt. Thus 1000 dollars out the door

I'm here at Plano too. The Don H dealership is ok imp, but I'd rather get those down at a much better known pro-shop instead. Reliable work with less charge for sure lol! Do u have a MR? The SST maintenance IS kinda pricy no matter where tho...

$600-1000 is normal for the 30k service.

Stealerships will charge you out the *** for labor, do some of it yourself or find a good evo shop

That price is just ridiculous. $500 would be plenty, and no the plugs do not need to be changed.

If you have a GSR, it's extremely easy to do yourself.

I really appreciate all the feedback. After all is said and done and some negotiatin plus discount from management, my 30k service totaled 680 bucks out the door. They even changed the drive belt. Level 3 maintenance. Air and cabin filters, drain/fill coolant, oil/filter change, tranny service, etc. Don't know what fuel induction kit is but it was 50 bucks. Air refresher assy (?) 24 bucks plus other parts and supplies. Yes its an MR. They recommended to change tranny filter. I'm bringing it back to Herring in Jan. They found a small tranny seal leak. Warranty work on that. I told JT (service advisor) that I will retract my original post. Having a colonoscopy is worse. Herring always treats me right. Not to mention their "elite" master mechanics. That's why I drive 250 miles one way. Plus my drive back is always awesome. This cat drives great!
