I snapped a bolt in my o2 housing and it is still mounted on the turbo. I am bringing it to a professional machine shop and they want to charge me 350 bucks to flatbed it 3.6 miles. Would it be okay to run just the o2 housing mounted to the turbo for a short distance?

 

U will risk the chance of starting a fire.

See if your insurance covers towing.

 

Just remove the exhaust manifold and take off the hot side housing and call it a day. Machine shop labor should cost you 30-40 bux to drill out the broken bolt. . Save that money for upgrades.

 

We're you installing a downpipe?

Happened to me, just take the hotside off like the advice above.

 

Another suggestion for removing the hotside and taking it into the machine shop.
