It's going to be hard for us to give you an opinion as there are really no photos. Price is attractive, though. I love octane blue. Have it inspected by a evo shop, if possible prior to purchase. Good luck!

That is a good price and it looks good in that blue. I am guessing it has a few miles on it at that price. It has an aftermarket Nav? More pictures would help though. Good luck

There are a whole lot of things scary about those pics, makes sense as to why the price is so low.

buying an evo with mods from a dealer is a bit sketch. They probibly took it on trade and so the question becomes why did the person trade it in rather then sell it outright and make more? I mean at the price there selling it at means they didnt give the guy much for trade in either.

Says it has 88k miles on it. That could be the reason for the low price. On the plus side, it does say it is a one owner so maybe it was actually taken care of.

Personally for me, 88k is too many miles. Especially if this will be her daily drive; you'll be over 100k in a year. You can get a decent mileage evo through a dealer for around 25k probably. If you buy private you can get a deal. It is a one owner and could have been taken care of. I bought mine with mild mods through a dealer and it was a one owner. Luckily I was able to contact the owner and get some information on the car. Don't give yourself a deadline to get one by V-day......if you want the right car it may take longer than that to find. I would keep looking.

To many miles imo. Plus I wouldn't buy a modded car from a dealer having friends who work in dealers I know they take turns running them hard for fun on the side. Honestly I would suggest maybe leasing a new one If that's an option for you.

I bought my wife a '12 MR for Christmas. One owner with ETS upper intercooler piping and an Agency Power cat-back. It had 28k on the clock and got it for $31,500.

yeah that's iffy. these cars have a reputation for being beat on. I bet those 88,000 miles were hard ones!

I love how you're justifying the purchase of an X by saying it's for your wife lol

take a look under the hood, under the car, check out the exhaust piping/ O2 sensor for any mods. Get the Carfax and actually read the thing be for i bought my X i was looking at an 09 and the exhausts had missing bolts and an Odometer conflict in the Carfax. take it to a shop to see if they can dump the ROM in the ecu, is it a stock ECU ROM?

Use all what you find to negotiate the price. If you find something odd and they promise to fix what you found id reject the offer. Why didn't they fix it before they put it on the market?

Negotiate well and you can prob get it for 17k-19k

turns out it actually had some issues and sold today so maybe that was for the better. ive been emailing a few places and found a clean 8 with about the same mileage at a good price. haveing a friend go check it out for me. maybe ill get an x after mine is built and i get back from deployment lol. 8 seems to be the way to go financially right now.
