I need A Exhaust.. Just can't find one.

Is their a official exhaust thread? I have not found one...

I have been looking for over 6 months and can't find a exhaust i like. Realistically i have not heard many exhausts in real life. Only youtube. But i am not a fan of the ETS sounds. I loved the bushchur exhaust on my evo 8. But everyone who owns it for the X said it is just too low for the car and it scrapes. I don't care for single exits. So idk... Any advice?

I've been searching myself, I think the Cobb sounds good, and might be what I'm looking for. Supposed to not drone as well. Sakura street exhaust is also on my short list as well.

Even then.... it is sooo difficult. I was thinking the ETS exhaust is great because of how many EVO owners own them. I swear all i hear is "ETS" this and "ETS" that. But i was trying to see if i could find something different yet very good. Idk... The ETS V2 would be the one i get but they want almost $1,000 for the exhaust system. So i will consider all options unless i can find someone on here that is selling theirs.

I still remember a time when exhausts were chosen on the basis of performance, and not for the sound they made.

They all seem to make the same power give or take, so sound becomes more of a deciding factor overall.

We don't really know that, because virtually no one tests exhausts and publishes the results. Not in the Evo market. I think it's clear why that is. OTOH, say, in the VAG market, exhausts are tested and then sold, in part, based on power gains.

Well, what exactly are you looking for?
Some people love loud exhausts, some hate them.

Personally, I absolutely love the way the Corsa dual exhaust sounds like. It's deep and growly, and the quality is pretty nice.

The top speed pro 1 dual exhaust is also another one of my favorites, and it's only around $500 for the catback.

Would you say the V2 is comparable to the buschur racing exhaust with the magnaflow? I enjoyed that loudness. If i get the v2 what options should i get? I dont need it extreme loud. Just louder..

Have you consider the Sakura Street? That's the one I am really leaning towards. Looks awful nice, and sounds good on clips I've heard.

Why don't you make your own custom exhaust?
It's not that hard to do and probably cost half!

I have the perrin turbo back and it sounds beautiful. Not too loud but not quite either. Nice rumble and no drone on the highway!
