What is the best exhaust for EvoX and where in NY is the best place to install and tune with K&N air intake?

 

You should check out some of the other threads already made about exhausts and decent shops in the area. It will be more substantive than some of the responses that you might get in this thread just because it has been discussed numerous times before. With that said you have to kinda know what you want. What are your goals. What type of exhaust you want and are you planning to do more than just an exhaust and filter or full intake.

I will give you my biased 2cents... Ets hardware and tune by E-Spec in LI, NY. If you do the leg work you will understand that is one of the most solid directions to take your Evo in. GL...

 

Thanks for the heads up. I have a K&N typhoon installed and was thinking about the ETS, or the HKS exhaust. With that would I need anything else?

 

your question is pretty vague. You don't "need" anything with a tune. You could tune your car stock. Now if you're looking for an exhaust there are a few things to consider. Dual vs single. Price range, and how loud you want it to be. Also personal preference. For your tune i'd add a 3port and test pipe. You could do uicp as well. e85 would be a great choice as well if you have it available to you.

 

This. I would also wit to tune until I have a couple of mods stacked up. It gets expensive to tune after the install of every mod..... Unless you are balling.... Then have at it... Lol

If you into single exit exhaust Tomei and Greddy Ti is your bet. I have Greddy single tip and love it.
