new guy & new evo

Hey guys, been lurking around for quite some time now. Finally picked up a black 2014 MR from Texas. Couldn't be happier! Shopped around for a while and kept coming back to the Evo.

Just curious if any other owners in upstate NY are on here. Curious how the Mitsu dealership is in Rochester/Syracuse for maintenance on these cars. If anyone has experience dealing with them let me know.

Welcome,

Congrats on the purchase. Im from Central Ny but purchased my X from an Albany area dealer, when i was shopping around though i went to Burdick mitsu in Cicero and they were pretty helpful to me. I've dealt with other dealerships in the Burdick network that weren't bad as far as a dealership is concerned

I have had a Black MR for four years.

I would get the thing clear bra'd or wrapped. The paint chips and overall thinness will be a problem in a yr or so. Mine looks like it got hit with a sandblaster. I was on a lease or would of done that.

Get a K@N filter. If you can get a tune I might look to that also.
Totally reliable for four years..!
ENJOY!
