full exhaust??

hi, i just purchased a 2014 Evo MR and am wondering if anyone has any input as to what types of exhaust/intake systems worked/didnt work for them. i'm looking to do a full cold air intake and possibly the intercooler and a turbo back exhaust. also, what are the issues with putting a BOV on? what kind of DTC issues are people having with putting aftermarket parts on?

thank you

Seriously dude - do some searching. The answers to those questions are readily available to anyone who can read.

But to save some time....

Cold air intake on MR = no. Trans cooler sits where the intake would go. Maybe with the ssp front cooler and a dodson sump.....maybe. The mistake people make is thinking that you really need an intake in the first place. The stock air box flows really well and is more than enough for most lower power (under 400hp) cars

Aftermarket Intercooler + upper and lower piping is an idea....just dont waste money on any intercooler thicker than 3"....you wont make the power to need it

Turbo back exhaust...sure. Some people will say a Dp upgrade on stock turbo isnt worth it but whatever. AMS DP + Tomei TI tp + Tomei Expreme TI cat-back for good flow, light weight, minimal highway drone and "race car sound"

BOV + EVO = Ricer Bull****. Use a proper DV (like synapse) especially on the MR. These cars do not like BOVs.

And finally, before you buy any parts, talk to a real, legitimate, professional 4b11t tuner. The Evo is not a "throw parts on and go" type of car, especially the MR.

speaking ov BOV's. the stocker will be fine until you have a turbo making some serious boost (30psi+).
