Should I get back into a Evo X?

Had a 2011 Evo X with a built 2.0 and ETS 6266 kit which made 569whp on 93. I sold the X and got a AP1 S2000, of course started modifying it right off the bat. The S is at 740whp with all supporting mods but on a stock unopened bottom end. It's been at those levels for over a year and a 1/2 and the engine is still strong at 102k miles (amazing Engines). It's a ridiculously fun car but thinking of coming back to the Evo community.

What do you guys think?

I guess it depends on what it is you miss about the Evo X. Would you keep both cars or just have one highly modded car? I think my problem (I'm sure I'm not alone) is that I have car ADD. As soon as I get something new it wears off fast and I start thinking about what I want my next car/mod to be.

Are you into racing? I would think the S2000 favors Autocross and I might lean towards the Evo in HPDE's personally. For just a street vehicle get whatever floats your boat and your budget. Both are cool cars in their own way.

Yeah it's mainly just to have fun, not so much for a specific type of racing. There's just nothing like a 700WHP AWD car, AWD is so forgiving at high power levels compared to a lightweight RWD car.

Do a big turbo evo x build. Im sure youll be more than satisfied. Theres more and more very high hp evo 10's coming out so the tuning and development is there.

Yes, Yes and Yes! The s2000 is cool, but there is something about high horsepower and AWD!

Not sure what point you were trying to get across with those photos. Nice cars, though.

go evo all the way, 700hp vs 700hp awd vs rwd who will most likely win? i think the point of the pic is to look at them and see what one is more appealing than the other

I say no dont do it. Sell the S2k and just get something different. You already modded an evo might be kind of boring just to get another and do the same thing. Maybe try something different i think you may have more fun with that , but alas just my 2 cents.

This is my 3rd Evo. I tried to get away from it, but no other car or mods to those cars could fill the void left by the Evo.

Well I pulled all the parts off to put the car back to stock, and basically everything was sold within a couple days other then the car. So I guess I'll finish putting it back to stock then go from there.
