Just got first Evo, helping modding?
Got a used 2011 Evo X MR with 9000 miles on it, and looking to start adding some mods to it.
I was aiming for 350-400whp as I've heard beyond that you'll need to start modding the transmission and as of right now it's a daily I don't wanna dump to much into it yet.
To hit the amount of whp I'm talking about I've heard I should install the following parts to start out:
ETS Cold Air Intake (I've heard the stock box with a K&N filter could work too?)
AMS Widemouth Downpipe
SpeedCircuit 3" Test Pipe
GM 3-Port / PnP Harness
ID 1000cc Injectors
Deatschwerks DW65 Fuel Pump
+ Road Tune for E85
After that I figured I'd replace the IC and the UICP, but that's about as far as I've gone on what I plan to do (besides some suspension parts.)
Any recommendations or suggestions? I'm coming from a Jeep Wrangler, so all of this stuff is new to me. I've just been trying to do my research so I don't waste money.

If you do all those mods, you'll be right around 400. Including the intercooler piping of course..also a grimmspeed boost controller will be necessary. With all those and a tune for e85 you'll be just around 400, it's the torque that kills. It doesn't just kill the sst, it kills the clutch in the Gsr of course and can kill many other cars..but with those mods, your torque shouldn't be too high anyway. Maybe around 360ish. What kind of dyno are you talking about? Mustang or dynojet. 400 on dynojet it possible like I mentioned earlier. Mustang that'll be a close call, but you're probably talking dyno jet
EDIT: sorry didn't see you already mention the grimmspeed boost controller.

Keeping it simple I would do
-full turboback (O2 downpipe, test pipe, catback)
-true cold air intake (like the AEM or AMS) not a short ram
-bigger intercooler and upper pipe.
-3 port like a Grimmspeed
-quality dyno tune
That alone should get you to 330-350whp for about $3k-$4k. (300-350tq which should still be safe for the MR)
Add in the injectors and fuel pump for E85 and you should be in the 350-400whp range.
