First Post/Introduction

Hello everyone!

I've owned my 2011 Evo X for about 2 and a half years now and for most of that time it was bone stock. The car is no longer stock so I figured I'd say hello

A few months back I had a plug break and take out a valve for cylinder 3 on the way out so I (instead of just replacing the valves) went and decided to build my car a little bit. Here's the parts list now that the car is up and running again, it's not including every little thing but it's the majority of it:

Engine:
ARP Head Studs
Crower I-beam rods w/ ARP2000 bolts
Crower 98mm Stroke Billet Crank
Crower CP Forged Pistons
Crower Stage 3 Cams (280/280 duration)
Crower Valve Springs + Retainers
Ferrea Competition Plus +1mm Valves
King Engine Race Series Main Bearings

Fuel System:
AMS Performance Fuel Rail Kit
ID 2000cc Injectors
Walbro 450LPH E85 In-Tank Fuel Pump w/ Install Kit

Misc.:
AEM Cold Air Intake
AMS 3.5" Intercooler
Buschur Racing 2.5" Lower Intercooler Pipe
Buschur Racing 2.5" Upper Intercooler Pipe
Cobb 3-Port BCS
Cobb Accessport V2
Cobb Downpipe
Exedy Cerametallic Stage 2 Clutch
Tsudo Catback Exhaust
Turbosmart Dual Port BOV

Interior:
AEM Digital Boost Gauge
AEM Digital Oil Pressure Gauge
AEM Digital Wideband Gauge
Dual A-Pillar Pod
Kenwood Double DIN
Sparco Clubman 4-Point Harness

Exterior:
Konig Torch 18" Rims

We're running a 2.2L stroke on the stock bore and compression. I have it tuned now for just 93 since the wideband for Cobb's dyno broke while I was there (bummer, I know). As far as I know the stock turbo record is 426 whp on a Dynojet with Meth Injection on 93. Do you guys think this will beat it? Just wanted everyone's thoughts on the build. Also, if this is the wrong category please let me know so I can move it. Nice meeting you all!

Nice mod list man. I'm actually thinking about building a 2.2 for my car as well. Who built it? I'm trying to decide if I wanna build it myself or give it to a shop for them to go crazy on it.

So far I love it! I mean the cams really come through but that turbo spools so quickly it's insane. The only non-daily friendly part of the car would just be the Exedy Stage 2 clutch, in stop and go traffic that thing kinda sucks. Other than that no complaints.

Your car looks extra sexy. I've been trying to decide which color I want to shop for and yours might have sealed the deal in white.

Thanks man! Black and white are beautiful, but I've debadged it and tinted 5 percent all around and the tails. Still need to smoke the headlights, the rims are Konig Torch 18" I believe, it's been awhile since I bought them. I'm still thinking about getting it wrapped in flat black though.

I was never really a fan of white cars before but the evo x in white looks so right!
Easy to keep looking nice too.

I still feel like I don't have that much done to the car lol, always more work to do! I was between trading it in for a GT-R or building this. This was the lesser of two evils since my insurance would be insane (not that it isn't already).

Gtr is a different animal. I got to drive 1 at work on our test track as part of used vehicle inspection. It was bone stock with 7k miles on it.
Prolly the quickest stock car I've ever driven. I should also point out the trans was very noisy. We ended up taking it into Nissan where it got a new trans under warranty.

Big reason why I didn't buy a GT-R is the cost of the parts.

Welcome! Nice build. Whites the fastest color so if you're going for a record you're doing it right let us know the final numbers!
