Orders open for Final Edition Evo X. Who is getting one.
eBay shows sold for $46,200. 1600 cars is a lot for a car not much in demand and probably equal to the M2 production numbers? Other cars to consider would be the RS3, GLA/CLA45, Focus RS, to the M2. Definitely a tough crowd. I personally had to get an evo since i've owned the 8,8.5MR, 9MR and now FE as a farewell to one of my favorite cars.
So I actually found a dealer that is selling them for 1.5K UNDER MSRP well average about 1.5k. Some even less. They are a dealer from Florida and they ship as well. So anyone considering buying a FE evo x might want to consider this dealer. They also are selling base 15 evo x for about 31k-32k. They are called RCHILLMitsubishi.
I purchased #26 from Fairfield (CT) Mitsubishi for the list price of $39,500, The only option is the Engine Appearance Package. They were kind enough to throw in regular Evo mats. No BS, straight forward deal. I checked out the information regarding nav and other options. Only 4 option packages were available from the factory. Nav was not one of them and is being added as a port addition by the other dealers in order to push up their profit margins. My son recently purchased a 2015 with the Fosgate, leather and all the fancy stuff with the MSRP within $100 of mine. After driving his, I had to buy one. BTW I am over 60 years old and am having a blast.. Nearest thing I had to this were a "76 and a "81 Celica.
I'm fairly certain those are correct, though I might be wrong as far as the numbers in Japan/Australia (I've seen some people quote 1500 in Japan, and haven't cared enough to research it lol).
I seen a Final Edition at my local dealer today, and even though it was raining I had to stop and look. They were asking 40k for it, was blue and I'm not positive on what number it was, thought it was 389 give or take, but could be mistaken.
It was pretty sharp looking even though I'm not a fan of blue cars, it did look really good. Just by seeing some of the engine bay pics, I would of almost liked them to of added the hard pipe to it instead of the normal uicp, they sell it on their site, should be standard on the car imo.
