i think 27 is possible but prolly not realistically going to happen a lot. I had to drive super slow and use all the hills to my advantage to get to 26. Dont ask me why i guess since i was already bored driving to work i figured i would give it a shot. Man 27 mpg on the regular would be very hard.

Me too! love the 500whp but I'm ready for more. I'm going the E85 route, started researching tonight . I was going to build 2.2l but after researching cost , e85 makes more sense

300WHP is enough, you can still be legal and is plenty fast for any kind of small-med tracks autoxross, or canyons.

its more HP then people have driving skill, other then roll racing which you might as well spare the cars, and just pull balance slips from an ATM and the one with the most $ wins.

300(ish)WHP.......

351/326 English Racing tune with ETS bolt on's. Hyper-miling 3000 miles cross country, I was able to hit 27.5 as max mpg.

I say bone stock is plenty for daily driving. I have been daily driving my 225 whp (stock) 5MT Evo for nearly 2 years now, and have never felt I need more power on the public roads.

If really itchy due to the mod bug, just get full bolt-ons (AMS STX400 or similar) with a 3-port boost controller, and you should be having fun all day everyday without the worry of car breaking down one day.

if you over 400 whp, I would recommend to change rods, and if you there already ( not necessary though) change pistons, bolts (ARP ) that way your engine, if its tuned right will be literally bullet proof.

Currently sitting at 360/360 on 91 pump gas at 25psi after my most current retune. Stock block, head, and cams, just bolt-ons. I have a EF2, map manifold, DW300c, and some ID1300's sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. Gonna convert it over to E85 and try to break into the 500's. Should be a fun daily driver once it's all said and done

daily to me means legal, meaning you're not breaking the law just going to work. I could daily my Baja truck every day too, but its not a good idea.

at the most a dual tune with a test pipe, so if you do have to see a REF, you can switch out in 15 minutes and take your test.

I'm very close to 400-awhp with the mods in my sig, and it is fun..!!
Just watch out for the mod bug.. the more power you got, the more you want.., but... My wife got the vaccine for that bug bite..!!
