Smile wideband location question

I can't seem to figure what I have to do to install the aem wideband uego. Kinda newbie.

2014 Evo GSR

First is, my downpipe and cat is still stock and have a catback exhaust.

How many stock o2 sensor location are on the dp and cat?

Can I take out one of the stock o2 sensor out and install the wideband sensor there?

Which to replace, front on the dp or rear on the cat?

Or do I have to keep both and weld bung the sensor to the dp?

Thanks.

You have to keep both unless you take it to your tuner to deactivate the O2 sensor on the cat. I just got my UEGO and it comes with a bung that you have to weld on. You could also get a weldless bung where you just drill a hole and it looks like a t-clamp and tighten it down

I'd recommend getting a HFC or test pipe with an extra bung for the wideband o2 sensor. Factory cat is pretty restrictive anyways. Might as well switch it out since you'll be under the car anyways

the sensor needs to be before the cat if you have a cat. it can be on the downpipe or on the pipe section right before the cat but never after the cat.

On the stock downpipe you would need to get it welded on. If you get an aftermarket one, there's sometimes an option to select an optional bung, so that you can mount the sensor there.
