When to upgrade BOV?

Can't seem to find a straight answer and I wanted some opinions from people on here whether or not I should upgrade my stock BOV. Getting my car tuned in a couple weeks with the following mods:

Tomei Downpipe
AEM cold air intake
AMS Catback
Cobb AP

I still have the stock BOV on the car, but my friend gave me a Perrin blow off valve off of his old Evo X. Should i put this on along with tuning the car? Any input would be great

Thanks

The stock BOV will be fine. You only need to upgrade once start running tons of boost. The stock BOV will hold 25-26 psi all day. It'll start leaking around the 28-30 mark. Upgrade once you're running more than 30psi. In which case you can do the stock bov "crush" mod.

My car was tuned at 28psi on a forge bov. For ****s and giggles I put the stock valve in and I could not build past 24psi.

Your fine with the stock one. Seems like more often on this site anyways people are always complaining or asking questions about problems there having with aftermarket blow off valves. So with just the mods you have no there really is no point in changing yours out unless you just want it for the sound factor.

I read all over 25psi is the limit, and when I was increasing boost while tuning I saw exactly that...
