Hello from the UK again! Another couple of videos from my Evo X VLOG below - first one shows a split screen comparison on track between my Evo X during a sprint vs a much lighter and more powerful Evo 5. Only 0.02 second in it by the end of the run though... SST box and more traction through the faster corners seemed to have helped me out.


The second is my footage of my X on track during the same event - shot for TV and me doing a (very rambling!) TV interview to Special Stage who were covering the event that day.

Pete - did you buy the graphite grey MR? Snetterton is near RAFL/RAFM. I was planning on attending one of the track days but my SST is acting up.

Yes I got that GG MR. I'm doing Snetterton next Wednesday. It's a half day with MSV. This will be different as I'm used to running my motorcycle on that track.

What's up with your SST? Sorry just to go off topic a little bit. I plan on keeping the mods mild as I heard the SST wasn't very kind to more power.

I'm up at Hethel this Saturday - was due to be Snetterton but the next sprint venue had to be changed.

What's up with the SST by the way... mine has been ok so far buit I'm always paranoid it might go and I'll end up with a big bill...

I get the "service transmission" code on 2nd gear while on s-sport mode. From what I read it's the shift fork magnet. I've been meaning to take it to indigo-gt for a billet style replacement and also for new clutches (Kozmic ERP) but haven't had the time.

Is there a circuit in Hethel? I was looking forward to the sprint in Snetterton, see some evos in action.

Yup, it's the Lotus test track - really good smooth track - details on MLR in the Sprint Series section.

That sucks about the SST.... a lot of labour for a very small part. Think I've seen a video of how it can cause problems.
