Hi，I have a 2015 EVO X with Cobb stage 3 and ETS 4” inter cooler with upper pipe and lower pipe，plus Injector Clinic 1000cc injectors and DW 65C fuel pump.and I use cobb stage 3 ots map.Right now I have a problem when the car idle if the coolant temp goes high.
The RPM drops even under 500，then there are two situations gonna happen,1.RPM is gonna go higher then drop again after engine push some gas by itself;2.the engine stops.
Also there is a code which says the fuel system too rich bank 1. But The wide band read always goes up to 17-19 which means lean condition.
In a few words the engine idle is extremely not stable when the coolant temp goes high about 180 more or less. Is anybody having idea about this ? Or how can I trouble shooting with this situation?Thank you,I don't know if this is a noob question,cos I am A Newbie to EVO. I live in Queens New York.any advise would be welcome.

 

The Cobb stage 3 map requires you to run a 3-port boost solenoid like the Cobb or Grimmspeed. Also, since you're not running the stock injectors, the OTS maps from Cobb will not work. I would recommend taking your car to a reputable Evo tuner in your area. Or go the e-tune way.

 

yea same as above quit driving it you are prolly doing more harm since its not scaled to your injector size.

Wait, you slapped larger injectors and a pump on there, and are still using the OTS tune? What did you expect to happen?

 

I was trying to get a bigger turbo tho. But for some reason. I could not get it done recently. So any recommendations?Bro
