Use a personal loan plus cash you have to avoid bank hassel, then refi with an auto loan after you get title in hand from your state to lower the intrest.
I personally would have definitely justified the extra 3k factoring in the money/hassle that I've gone through to end up with cloth Recaro seats, and the fact that the CA car would have been heated leather/suede with FE stitching throughout (front + back). Add the BBS rims on top of that, and I would have gladly paid $3k more up front lol.

Plus fosgate, and sunroof which I have never liked cars with sunroofs, so that was part of my decision too.

Forgot about the RF audio, but I agree with the sunroof. They don't have an aluminum roof because of it, and they don't have the black pillars/headliner either if I'm not mistaken.

Here she is...number 708. Wrapped everything except the doors in xpel ultimate paint protection film. Picked her up on December 31 and she sits with 26 miles on here lol. Next step is rally armor mudflaps, ets v2, and c quartz uk. Then it's time to enjoy!

Great looking Evo! Just curious, why didn't you wrap the doors? On my 2013 MR, the doors had the most road damage.

I just finished getting my doors wrapped and I'm really happy with the results. We took off the door handles, mirrors and window trim but were able to do a single piece on the rear doors (no seems). We did two pieces on the front doors but the seem is hidden under the mirror mounts.

Hey guys just looking for some advice, I went to the dealership yesterday and checked out this final edition https://autos.yahoo.com/new-cars/mit...666498482.html . I asked the dealer what kind of Boeing discount I get and its a little over invoice, the otd price came out to 41600 I just want to know if this is a steal or I can get them to budge a little. I traded my 09 370 nismo for a civic last year and the more I look and the Evo 10's the more I fall in love with it. Any feed back would be good I'll be buying it out of Seattle Washington.

I purchased mine for significantly under invoice about a month ago. So they can let the car go for less than what they are offering to you. It's just a question of whether they want to.

Just so you know Harris and Pierre, and Karmart have been trading, and selling there Finals to california. Harris had 5 finals just off the truck all sold on the windows last week and wouldnt sell me one. So you got Yonk, Auburn, Larson, Olympia to deal with. Not sure if its a steal, but seems like an alright price, since your paying what about 4k in tax, and license.

Thanks guys, I went to the dealer 2 days ago and he made it cut and dry about the price with the discount. The only weird thing to me is I never received a call back and dealers always call me back haha. I'd be happy if they threw in tinting the Windows. I have the print out in my car I have to look at it again, the price of the car before tax and lic was around 37,265.

Hey guys! I haven't been to this forum since I sold my Evo 8 back in 2010. Well, here is my new FE #1314. I do have to admit that the recaros would have been perfect for this car... maybe i'll be looking into buying some used ones.

Nice looking car, I love the blue on these.

As far as the Recaros, I swapped them a little while ago, and it's awesome.. it's like a new car. I just swapped my rear seat last night too so the interior matches.. I'm very happy, and it was definitely worth the time to track everything down (I met some cool people along the way as well).

Thanks man!! That's what I'm planning on doing. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find them and how much did they cost you?

Yea, no problem at all.. I joined about 30 different Evo groups on Facebook and just searched for "Evo X Recaro" every few days.

I didn't have a ton of luck finding new postings, but I would keep scrolling down to the old ones and reading replies. A lot of times several people would say they had some, and I just started sending messages to the people who weren't the seller asking if they still had them.

The guy I found wanted $1k for the fronts, but said it would be like $450 to ship (Illinois to New York). He said he would take $900 if I picked them up, so I rented a SUV and drove 23 hours round trip to get them one weekend lol.

I got my rear seats from a guy on these forums actually. I've had several people contact me saying they have some, and most people are asking $200, so I wouldn't pay much more than that for the rears personally. Even on eBay, they seem to sell in the low-mid $200 range.

Speaking of eBay, I searched that regularly as well.. Seats do come up on there from time to time, but the quality is usually pretty rough from what I've seen.

All in all, the going rate for cloth seats are around $1k fronts and $200 rear. For the heated leather you're probably $500-$600 more on the fronts and no clue on the rear, but I personally wouldn't go much higher than $400-$500 tops.

It really depends on what you're willing to spend, and don't forget to factor in shipping or any costs you will have if you travel to pick them up!

Awesome!!
Thanks again! I'll definitely start looking for some. It's the only thing the car needs.
