Thanks for the info. Have you had weathertechs before just curious.

I got lazy last week but will try and hit up Mitsu Monday to take a look.

No. I was looking into the weathertechs till I went and talked to my Mitsu dealer and he showed me the winter mats he had. Make sure you ask about the ones that are similar to the weatertechs not the plain rubber mats.

These are very similar. Can't find a pic of the Mitsu ones.

So I went to check out the mats and totally forgot to take pics.

In the end I think the Weathertech's a little better in the fact that they have channels to allow water to flow down the mat away from your pants, have a higher side to them to prevent any dirt from splashing over the sides and the Weathertech mats cover the dead pedal which the Mitsu ones that I looked at didnt.

The Mitsu mats did feel of a high quality rubber so I don't think there is anything wrong with them. I am just very picky and want maxiumum and full coverage.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the Weathertech mats covered the dead pedal as well. They don't cover it completely, but go up at least half way (the car's been in the garage for a while now and I can't rememeber lol).

If you can afford them, the Weathertech really are great, look great in the car, and fit perfectly!

I'm ordering them today They will only be used in the winter. I'll get some oem fabric ones for the summer.

I'm actually planning on using mine all season because I really do like how they look, and it does rain during the other seasons (water, mud, etc). The couple times my Weathertech got wet, I just dried them off with a towel when I got home, and didn't end up with any moisture evaporating inside the car.

Plus, I'm going to keep my OEM "Final Edition" mats new, and sealed in plastic as a collectors item lol.

I use my weathertech's all season long. They are slippery at first but that goes away. No reason to switch summer or winter, they look good regardless so why bother?
