Hello guys grateful for all the responses and knowledge. Ok all try to answer all the question in one post. First I will not plasti dip my car pink lol no am not against plasti dip or the color pink but I just find pink cars obnoxious. Also why a picture I don't see other guys asking guys for pictures . Here's the link on the car http://www.tomballford.com/used/Mits...d1217b73b7.htm

I did get a call back from the dealer and the sales man did say what number I would be comfortable with. Know I just can't get over the color know for the right price possibly but still back to the point some have pointed out. No warranty will be offered.

Also I did forget to post that it did say it had a racing clutch installed. Yes I heard nothing but good things about kozmic and will be giving them a call. Hopefully they can enlighten me on the work done etc.

Once I get it I do plan to mod it to what extent it will all depend. Definitely been reading up on this cars so want to be the best prepared as possible.

The real question is why did he pay for all that work and parts then just trade it in and not take the parts off or anything..

Yea but most people who buy an evo are usually like car guys or girls. Not just like a random purchase. So im wondering what happened to the car to make him dump it as a trade in with all that stuff still on it.

The rotors are part of an upgrade package most likely since this thing looks like it has all the options. If it was tracked the calipers most likely would be super faded...the red doesn't really hold up to well. Powder coating would prolly yield the same result they would be all faded.

I like how the wideband and boost gauge is literally blocking the entirety of the speedometer.

It is a base MR. Miles are low but appears to have bolt-on mods, looks like it is on coils(maybe springs) and the RPF1s are nice. If you contact them tell them to send you a pic of the engine bay. Its a 2014 so their asking price even for a base MR is not bad. Looks to be in good shape but I would really like to see a pic of the engine bay and it appears the owner didn't care too much about parting with it even with the money he put it in as he may have traded it in on a BMW.. or Mini.
This could turn into a decent deal because they do not want that car sitting in their lot so try to low ball them. Before you do this though I would go and test drive it and see if you like the SST tranny. Not sure if you driven one yet. It is obviously totally different than a GSR and some folks here have their reservations on MRs...

If you go test drive it. See if there are any CELs... particularly a car with bolt-ons. Check for leaks of course and see if the car is on springs or coils.. the stock shocks on the MRs are yellow.. so it will be obvious if the car still has them. Pop the hood and take a pic of the engine bay if you want to post it here for feed back.

Oh and do the following... Park the car on a level ground and put the transmission in the park position... when you shut the car off, the car should remain stationary. If the car jolts forward after shutting it off, that is an indication there is likely an issue with the SST. It is rare but something to be on the lookout if you seriously consider buying this car. It has been reported even with lower mileage MRs.

Other than this, try the various modes of the transmission and you will see the throttle response difference between normal and sport modes.
