Don't let your insurance company, if they fix the car, weasel out of a depreciated value assessment. You should get a check for around 4-5k on top of the return of your car 'like new' to offset the hit you would take if you sold it down the road and had to disclose the accident. Insurance companies like to conveniently forget about that, so make sure you get that coming back to you and don't let them screw you on the amount. (they screw us all enough already, they can afford it!)
