got hit yesterday driving home :(
Was on my way home from work yesterday, and a guy coming towards me hit Snow that had blown onto the street lost control and even though I tried to get out of the way it was too late. ... was able to walk away but the drivers side from behind the front wheel and front/rear doors were main impact .... been babying the car to ensure proper break in just rolled over 2200miles only had the car a month and a half. But things happen just glad this didnt happen while i had my fiat abarth would of been way worse for me im betting
UPDATE!!!!!! 4/8/16
finally got my baby back today looks awesome!!!! everything bodywork wise looks showroom new (only a few minor issues that need looking at but not related to the bodywork) plus wheels and swift spec r look great!! still need to settle but rides great and shop is holding off on the alignment till i put a hundred or so miles on it.

Any pics? if they missed the front wheel, you might have avoided frame damage and the car can be repaired without being totaled. Did it trigger all of the side airbags and steering wheel/knee bags?
Only the curtain airbags went off on the front and rear drivers side doors ... the steering and knee never went off . Makes me wonder about the knee one that should of went off ,didnt realize there was a knee airbag... ill post up pics i took a couple after the police said it was ok
Well if you hit on the side, it probably didn't recognize as a frontal impact for the steering/knee bags. But yea, there's even a notice in the manual not to have things hanging from your key chain because the knee bag could hit them lol.
But yea some pics would give us a good idea whether it will be totaled or not.

pics added it does look like the front wheel was hit the way the guy slid into me as i was trying to get over onto the shoulder to try and avoid him and he was already sideways comin fast so with my car being angled from trying to get over is why it was literally a t-bone..... i was surprised that his car was able to drive away . he was missing his entire front bumber and beam along with the drivers side headlight
Although it does look pretty rough, to me it looks like the lower frame was missed and the main impact was in the front fender/wheel and the two doors. I don't think they'll total it, since the engine will be fine and doesn't look like the roof collapsed or warped at all. Hell, it didn't even break the window lol.
Did the guy that hit you not have snow tires? WTF that's crazy how far it looks like you were pushed. It does look like your front tire is bent inwards, wonder what else that compromised as that would probably **** off the transfer case and other components.
Hope they total it or fix it 100% for you... hurts to look at but glad you are ok!

The guy was driving a 05 stratus, and was trying to tell me he was doing 20mph which i dont believe its normally 45mph on the street where it happened and yhe roads were clean except for the spot where the wind was blowing the snow through the clearing
Let's be honest here, we all know he wasn't even paying attention when he hit that snow patch and probably freaked out and lost control. You're extremely lucky that you tried to avoid him and took the hit in the side, if he had hit you head on it would've hurt the engine for sure and the car would be toast.
