this has gotten off topic for sure. The only car I would consider, other than the Evo, would be the focus rs...I'm not much of a hatch guy myself, so that is probably out. Also....I'm sorry to anyone who likes them, to each his own, but you wouldn't find me dead in an STI. I don't need to be convinced, I don't care if they can do this or that. I am an Evo guy. Also, waiting a year isn't going to make my budget go up...I feel comfortable at a certain price point, and even if I wait and save (have been waiting for over 2 years, more if you count how long it's been my dream car)...I'm just going to put more money down

Discussing the cost of an Evo X along with the pluses and minuses of considering other options, in a thread where you are still on the fence regarding deciding is off topic?
I didn't realize your focus was narrowed down to only an Evo, no matter what. In that case, you're in the right place. We're all Evo nuts her e.

I work from home. Decided on the X. I will get a cheap VIII if I want to have some more fun. I'm just looking for an upgrade from my Lancer, and I think the X is the best value for right now, especially in my area (cleveland)

Ten = better suited for daily driving and long road trips as it's quieter and a bit more comfortable. In stock form of course.
VIII and IX's = dedicated track weapon build. Not to say that X ain't. It's a weight issue.
