Low issues?
Hey guys!
So i recently bought some Fortune coils. I lowered it and put some rear camber arms to have the aligment be on point. issue is that is not 100% good cause we know by lowering we will still have some camber. Now my issue is that every time I start to pick up speed by 3000 eps starts to shake!! so i toke it to the shop to redo the alignment and so they did and they said that i would need to buy the toe arms to stop the shake, but now they are also saying that thats one of the issues when lowering the car, because the axels are not in the stock high making them vibrate when picking up speed fast and thats when the car starts to shake.Has any one encounter this issue??

Did you install the wheels with hub centric rings?
How much did you lower the car? A 2-2.5" drop won't cause any issue with the axles. If you put it on the ground, that might create some issues though..

It is NOT the hub rings. It can be.. but i doubt it. Because i had this problem with 2 of my Evos. You need better weights on the wheels. I forgot what the weights are called that i have on both cars now but.. it fixed my problems completely at high speeds and low speeds. Go to a discount tire or tires plus or wherever and they will install sticky metal weight stripes.

I think most places use the stick on weights the only other type of balancing you can do is called road force balancing which is the better method that can be used, generally costs a bit more and not as many shops have that. Also there is a good chance its the hub centric rings I had a regular balance done on my stock wheels when I had my track tires put on them and they are perfectly smooth, but my after market ones have the same vibration and I also skipped the hub centric rings. And they used the metal stick on weights, so I wouldn't just completely rule that out.

Did the shop check to see if you have the rings (couple bucks) and if the wheels are balanced correctly? I'd start with that first. Raise it up a bit and see if it helps.

Last i will do is to raise the height up to see if it goes away. I am currently a finger and a half all around.
