What all is needed to swap from the center console with the 2 push button door/covers in front the shifter (ash tray/power outlet) to the center console without the doors where it appears more opened up. I would also like to change the section behind the shifter to get rid of the door covering the cup holders. If the swap is possible will I run into any issues with my heated seat buttons? I'm assuming the armpad is swap able between console designs as well?

When I ask what parts are needed are there specific part numbers I should be looking for?

Never mind. I re-read OP.

 

Your heated seats switches will swap right over to the open cup holder console. I did this when swapping my MR Recaro's into my FE. You just need to knock out the blank panel put in their place.

 

I am not sure how the back-most half of the center console would affect your heated-seat buttons as mine is a 2008 GSR withou that option... But, I would totally swap the shifter/compartment piece! I've been wanting the doors instead of the open bottom compartment. Is yours that glossy black? Mine is flat black plastic no finish to this part.

 

The doors on my console are glossy, it's close to black but to me at times looks blue. It matches the long divider piece on the dash and doors.

 

Does Anyone have pictures of the difference between the 2?

 

So I have been looking for the center console parts off and on and believe I might have found a solution but not 100% sure if my idea will work.

I know either way I will need the picture of the climate control surround and cubby (img 0318). But can I buy the 2 separate pieces (lidless cupholder center section (0320) and shifter surround (0319)) or would I need the center console piece (0317)? Looking at other pictures online of for sale consoles the center console appears modular in a sense where pieces can be swap from one to the other but I don't know for sure, it would make sense from a manufacturing stand point and not having to have multiple center console part numbers.

And for the member who asked about the differences image 0321 is a poor picture of the other style of console which is also the style I currently have.
