I love the 996 Turbo. One of my favorite cars. But the new Cayman S is one of the best sports cars you can buy. It would be a tough choice but I'd go with the 996 Turbo.
Gotta say, fits your personality size too.

Putting a deposit down on a 996 turbo! I'm always going to have a soft spot for Evos. Wouldn't be surprised if I have another one down the road.

Porsches are in many ways the most exquisite form of race cars. I love the Cayman GT4 and turbo 991's. That said, in the recent years, I increasingly feel that Porsches' driving dynamics is somewhat generic and they don't have a strong personality. This leads me to believe that GT-R Nismo, Camaro Z/28, F-Type S, and Viper ACR are the next cars for someone graduating from an Evo.

Nevertheless, never estimate what an Evo X can do with Ohlins, big brakes, a rear LSD, and a twinscroll BorgWarner (might necessitate engine build). Even most of the supercars cannot defeat such an Evo on the racetrack.

I almost bought a NA 996 two years ago. It's true hardcore car for true hardcore fans!
