Hi, I was wondering if anyone had ordered any parts from "mitsubishiparts.net" recently, I have read older posts about how good their customer service was, but I've tried to contact them through the number listed on the site and through messages submitted through the site, I even tried messaging them on Facebook, but have not had any success getting through to them. I am trying to figure out if they have the OEM Evo X RS foglight delete kit in stock as well as maybe get an ETA prior to placing the order. I have got to say after reading all the good things about them I was a little surprised that after 2-3 weeks I have gotten no response from them.

I am not sure if I misplaced this thread, but if I did I do apologize.

 

I had the same experience but decided to place an order anyway last week and I've had nothing but a pleasant experience since. Russell is still there and was very responsive after I placed my order. First half of items arrived on Saturday and the rest this week.

For a frame of reference I placed an order on 5/19 and everything was shipped by 5/25. I placed a big order so they had to wait for their shipment to come in before sending to me. They're based in WA and I'm in NYC and shipping took 4 days.

I don't know how much Russell is coming on these days. Without revealing too much they had a change of management so things are a bit different.

Thanks for the heads up. MitsubishiParts.net is an awesome source for Evo parts and I'm wanting it that they stay cool.

 

I never got a response back from the website email, but I went and ordered anyway and got my items the next day. (I live like 3 hours away). The first time I ordered it took little more than a week since the items I ordered were special order.

 

I went ahead and send him an email through that address just about 15 minutes ago. Hopefully he gets back to me, if he doesn't I'm debating taking my chances(which seem to be pretty good so far) and ordering my parts anyways.

 

From my experience, Russell is great. But some of the other people in that parts department, not so much. Thus, results may vary.

Personally, I found http://www.mitsubishipartssource.com/ to be a little more user friendly.

 

Do you by any chance know if they stock or offer the OEM fog light delete kit off of the Evo X RS? I haven't been able to find the kit anywhere else.

 

I know they offer the OEM / JDM fog light deletes, because I literally just bought a set two weeks ago from them. Russell did mention it was the last set in stock when I picked them up. So, yes they still offer, not sure if in stock right now though.

 

Yeah, I know mitsubishiparts.net offers them, that wasn't my question. I was referring to mitsubishipartssource.com because a member had just mentioned them.

I would be interested in knowing how you got ahold of Russel though, I emailed him about a week ago now and have gotten no response. Their website doesn't have the delete kit marked as "out of stock" but that could just be because they don't update their site frequently.
