2015 evo x headlight HID conversion

hello,

I have a 2015 evo x with halogen headlight. im planning on getting the DEPO headlights with the Evox-r lens, morimoto hid kit. i read about that if you swap to HID the headlights will flicker. is this true on the 2015 model? and exactly what bulb size is needed? I read 9006 but the evox-r lens says it only fits d2s bulbs. your experiences and opinions are much appreciated.

It'll still be a problem on the 2015. Some folks have had good luck with the capacitor kits:

They're cheap too. http://www.hidextra.com/hidextra-uni...apacitor-pair/

so by gathering some info. since the lights on my headlights doesn't automatically turn on even when driving means I don't drl so I shouldn't have issues with the flickering issues?

Yeah, if you don't have DRLs, you should be fine. Oddly, my 2015 GSR with factory HIDs does have DRLs. Crazy @$$ Mitsubishi
