What's the difference between AeroCatch Plus and AeroCatch Xtreme?

^^^As we know, hood pins are a great way to secure aftermarket hoods. I have been recently looking into AeroCatch 120 series hood pins. Interestingly, AeroCatch offers two versions: Plus (120-2000) and Xtreme (120-4000), while they don't have too much info on the actual difference of securing force. My wild-*** guess is that the 120-2000 Plus hood pins are not strong enough for off-road racing and has occasional failures under such conditions, so AeroCatch developed the 120-4000 Xtreme.

For us Evo owners, which is a more appropriate application for our cars, since they have such similar pricing?

Yeah. It looks like the Xtreme!!! replaces the Aluminium Strike Pin with a steel one. I'm guessing the abuse of off-road racing fatigues the aluminum pins. The Plus is more than fine for street/road race/auto-x

Thanks a lot! I will go for the Plus then. Aluminium=no rust worries.
