Noticed this on Rotor

Anyone know what could cause a rusty line around my rotor? Changed my pads a couple months ago and it's only my rear rotors that have this issue. It's more noticeable on the driver rear though. So far my evo still brakes good only thing is it makes a squeaky noise under 5 mph and this. Anything to worry about? I added a pic below

If u recently washed the car and let it sit rust with form. This is nothing to worry about the brake pads will eventually remove the rust. That is if your brake pads have life still in them. And the squeakieness is pretty common at that mph when braking. Ik my x does it not all the time tho just when people r watching me in a parking lot. Pretty embarrassing but oh well

The rusty line is just the area where the pad doesn't make contact with the rotor so it doesn't scrape the rust off when you brake. Rotors are not typically stainless so they rust. If you go out and spray one with a hose, it will flash rust in minutes.

^^ all this.

Though I'm amazed your pad would not touch that much of the rotor surface, seems like it's missing quite a bit.
