Keep it simple and reliable: exhaust and tune. The car will make cool noises and have a bit more "giddyup". By the way, when I say tune, I mean "make the car drive better" tune, not "make it as fast as humanly possible" LOL.
GOOD lowering springs if you want it to look nice. Just enjoy the car, they are a lot of fun.

Basic bolt-ons and a tune are perfect for an Evo X. You'd be surprised with the additional HP that you can get without spending a ton of money. You don't have to tear up your car either. Start with an intake, exhaust, EBCS, and tune. I had a COBB Accessport as well and used their OTS tunes and loved it, then I eventually switched to open source for even more power. Figure out what your goals are and get input from reputable people and/or shops so you don't waste money too. Good luck with your build.

Mud flap and weather tech mat. Drive until you know your car is problem free before modding.

For me, I modded at 1.5K miles. I needed a major warranty claim @ 7K miles due to some failure that is not mod related but the claim was denied due to the mod. If I waited at least 10K miles, I would have gotten everything fixed hassle free.

The EVO X is a great car but things could have been overlooked during assembly. Please drive as is until you know your particular car is reliable before doing the bolt on and tune. Give it 10K miles.

If it were mine.

Atmospheric dump.
True 3 inch exhaust.
Fuel pump
3 port
Intake
E85 tune
Cams

You can do all this on the low. Part it together. Deal here deal there. Thats the way i would do it.

Whatever you do, as soon as your boost amount changes get tuned.

Also throw some new plugs in that *****. They are common to detonate and shatter the center electrode porcelain and destroy that cylinder.

Cheers
