Thinking about selling the EVO X
Thinking about selling the EVO X
Just trying to get public opinion on what I should list it for locally in WA state.
2008 GSR SST Octane Blue w/o wing
86,0000 Miles (and up)
Second owner since 4,000 Miles
Conservative tune (275 dyno)
Aftermarket items
I'm really stretching some of this)
AMS intake
HKS BOV
Test pipe
MR BBS powder coated wheels
English Racing Tune
Service Work / History
Clutch and Brakes (rotor and pads) done at 80K
Belt and cmc recall done this week
Timing chain replaced at 60K
Spark plug, coil packs replaced this week
Oil changes every 3-4K (could have stretched it, but I have a garage so why not)
Body Condition:
Clean body with road rock chips here and there
Carfax will show an accident due to someone backing into my door in the parking lot
My car spends most of its life in my home garage or in my work parking garage covered from the elements
I literally drove this car to work and back. I don't track it nor due I clutch dump. My last clutch lasted 80K. I did have fun driving this car when the opportunity opened up. I didn't drive it like a grandpa or a blind Asian lady ( I can say that cause I'm Asian)
So what's all of your thoughts?
Thanks,
-Mark

Modifications don't add value. Just put up an add for what the cars in your range are going for and see what happens. kbb.com edmunds.com nada.com price it for the average for private sale based on the condition of your car.
I hate when people say that. You will never get your money back from mod that is true but they do add value. You can get at least 1-2k easy over nada or whatever if you have work done then without. Depends on the the work of course.

I tend to agree with you. The mods definitely have value to the right buyer. But IMO having mods reduces the pool of potential buyers. If you find the right buyer great but it may take some extra effort.
I was just about to post a similar thread, I have a 2010, 83,000 miles. Was aiming for a $22K sale. Car has; K&N Intake and UIC pipe, AMS downpipe, milspec cat, buschur exhaust, Cobb accessport, full carbon engine bay, painted lip, splitters, cf side skirt splitter, oem spats, duck bill cf trunk, work wheels, swift springs, new clutch, and new timing chain, ayc pump, and rebuilt dif by mitsu (started to leak).
Sorry to hijack the thread, and I will edit my post if you would like, but I figured it was on topic.
