Evo x HID CONVERSION

Hello,

I'm upgrading my base halogen headlights to projectors which will be using H7 bulbs. I will be getting the morimoto HID system. Now my question is this (see below)

1: will I need a CANBUS as apart of the HID relay?
2: Does H7 bulb come in Bi-xenon? The headlight company tht I bought mines from said the H7 will serve as low and high beam.
3: my 2015 Evo x does not have DRL so would I need the jrox cable thing or something in that ball park to stop the HID bulb from flickering?

Thanks

well you are gonna need a jrox for your aftermarket ballast hid but if your using the oem hid ballast the jrox wouldnt work on and you have to do the wiring method to disable the drl..

1: No
2: The projector has a shutter to do low/high / act as bi-xenon. H7 is two wires, IIRC, so it probably does not have a high beam trigger on it. You'd have to use the high beam power wire to trigger the projector shutter.

3. It doesn't? My '15 (with HID) has DRL. If you don't have DRL, you won't need the jrox cable

Used Denso ballast with Phillips bulb for years with no problems.
