$380 for a tune?
That's a pretty decent price for a tune. When I was looking for mine I got an average of $450-650 at a shop. I ended up getting an open source tune done by a reputable guy that tunes on the side and it was way cheaper with great results. We ended up doing the tune right on the street. That could be an option as well.
Yea thats real decent provided it's a quality tune. Hell to tune my DD I'd be looking at the car down for 2 days(Have to mail in my ECU) 600 for tune, and 450 for a spare ECU so mine can remain factory stock.
No OBDII port flash availability FTL.
Then again I just got our bone stock 05 FXT e-tuned for $150 + the cost of a 3-Port (Grimmspeed $110) and the tune is nothing short of amazing, safe, and flawlessly smooth. Mapping is not locked and mapping is very smooth and well done. Them guys know their stuff!! I think I have 7+ rom revisions and wants more logs after 200 miles to check it out and make any adjustments needed
Point is 1000+ to tune my DD with essentialy a canned tune vs the 150+ 3port price I just spent and my DD would never match up the the FXT even tuned to the ragged edge of hell so. It's all in the platform really.
