I really want to get the ETS Mitsubishi Evolution X Dump O2 Eliminator Downpipe, but I run event like AutoX and track days with noise regulations. Does anyone haev a decible reading on this under WOT?
I know its gonna be super loud and I am happy about that, but also don't want to be DQ'd for noise regs. I could just lift when going by the reader, IF I know where it is...

But just checking to see if anyone had actual numbers on this-

It will fail the decibel test - no question about it.

Do you actually compete in these events or are you there for only fun?

Mostly it is just for fun, but also like to see where I stack up- as I get better, competition will be more important, for now just fun. The decible limit is 100...but I know others who have super loud dumps that just lift when they are near a reader and they pass. I wasn't sure how close this one will be

 

I thought some tracks also have rules about dumping exhausts like that as well?

 

I'm sure some do- but none of the ones I have been to yet or that are around me-

 

its loud. really loud. also its not really needed for stock turbo.
