FAST key range

Recently my FAST key seems to have a very short range. I have to be within 10 feet or shorter for the unlock/lock function to work. Even after replacing the battery.

Does anybody have an ideas as to what may be causing the issue? Or does anyone have a diagram of the FAST key system so I can take a look? Thanks!

Are you talking about pressing the buttons on the door handle to lock/unlock, while your key is in your pocket? If so, you always have to be near the car ~2ft. for the car to sense its presence and unlock.

Nope, the actual remote itself. For example, I'd normally be able to unlock my car from inside the house, but now I have to be standing in the driveway for the remote to work. Its definitely not the remote battery.

Is there any chance a parasitic draw can be using up power that the FAST key module would normally use? The only reason I ask is because I have a 4amp car charger hard wired into the interior fuse box thats tapped into a fuse thats on with the car off, that way I can charge my phone when the car is off (I do a lot of waiting in parking lots).
