Line in between UICP and BOV that runs to bov.

I think that line is fine. My boost gauge is installed by reputable Evo shop

That's where mine is tee'd off from. I am also running the stock bypass valve. I see no issues.


On all of my turbo cars I have ran a vacuum distribution block fed usually where the PCV hooks into the manifold.


This engine has a lot of vacuum sources and you're going to be feeding a very small line for the boost reference so there won't be any problems.

What's with the dead end response? You didn't even site any sources or knowledge as to why?


At this point it's just an opinion. At least I have some form of anecdotal evidence that it's a safe place to tee from.

Note @KRome, yeah it's as far as my cut of line goes for. After I replied I googled this up and it seems the community is pretty torn on if this is okay or not (not our community, other turbo communities). It looks like it can cause lag in the blow off valve, and some after market BOV's specifically say not to do this. That said, the Subaru handbook literally says to cut there for a boost gauge (how nice of them to add that) and that's as far as I got when I decided "well if I don't go with here I'm going to have to pull everything down and rerun it, my trim has already taken it's pound of flesh, basically everyone is like "it works great", so this is where I'm going"

Haha well so it looks like I still have to rerun everything, so I might as well go ahead and run it up to the manifold.
