Well the owner just said the car has no damage title or salvage title. Insurance paid for repair. The claim was like 12k USD, he said that includes four months of car rental. All parts replaced were OEM

Its surprisingly easy for a car that was sold both in Canada and the US. Your customs should be able to provide you with all the necessary paperwork. People do it all the time.

Yeah exactly. By the time it's all said and done you end up paying $25k for a $15k car. Not worth it to buy from the US for these cars at this time.

I would go with whichever you think is a better deal. I don't really like getting things that have been in an accident though, that is just my opinion.

I'd say, keep looking don't get the car with bad paper work. for example if I'd be buying a project car for 5,000 and been invovled in some small accident thats fine, but frame damage, hell no.

keep looking.

I also have another DD which is EvoX with light mods, wheels, suspension, and some exterior work. plenty of power for me, my wife DD it as well , good luck

I wouldnt buy a car with frame damage. you don't know how extensive the damage was?
