^Here is what I mean. The OEM part number is MZ380527EX. Will it fit an Evo X?

I always feel the Evo's unprotected bumper and the Mitsubishi thin paint is not an ideal mix. Hauling luggage or cargos of any kind destroys the upper part of that bumper fairly quickly. Do you feel the same way? Are you also looking for some sort of protector to install to your bumper?

No idea if it fits but MitsubishiPartsWarehouse says that it does:

I've seen some of these parts sites have inaccurate information though. You could probably contact them and see if they guarantee fitment, or if you could return it if it doesn't fit.

Another option would be to put clear film on it. It might not protect quite as well but it would be cheaper and fairly simple (and would probably look better). Some places (e.g. invisiblemask.com) have bumper deck kits for this area.
