Hi Guys,


i want to take my car for a tune but first i wanted to check that everything is fine and its ready for it.

Mods:

AMS CAI
AMS IC and Pipes
AMS Downpipe
Tomei CBE
Grimmspeed 3-port EBCS
HKS BOV.

TUNE: COBB OTS Stage 3 91oct LWG.


the thing is when i do the pull the car builds boost fine (i think) but between 4600 - 4900 the boost dips to 16 then back up to 20. i have no idea why, could it be the OTS map?

i did a boost leak test but only at 10 PSI because i don't have a big compressor, just an electronic tire compressor that runs on the cigarette lighter socket and couldn't pressurize more than 10 PSI (or i could have been a bit scared something will pop in my face ) and i didn't find anything.

You're running a map that is not designed for the parts you have. Logging isn't going to show much other than that. Honestly if it were my car I'd stay out of boost until tuned, as you're risking damaging the car boosting like it sits.
