Is Excel the ONLY way to read EvoScan logs?

My Netbook doesnt have a CD drive so I cant load up MS Office to install Excel. Is there any other software that opens the Evoscan .csv files?

evoscan has a built in grap viewer - that's the best way to review the logs imo.

I regularly use OpenOffice.org and Google Docs with Evoscan logs. More details on what didn't work when you tried to open it with OO would be helpful.

As travman mentioned, there's also the built-in visualization stuff, although it's personally not to my liking.

There's also another commercial product called DataLogLab that a lot of folks here like, which provides some excellent log visualization tools.

I prefer LogWorks to read logs. There are threads in this forum on how to convert EvoScan logs to LogWorks logs.

Just use another computer to put your office cd onto a flash drive, or put it on a share (or share the actual CD drive) and access it through the network.
