Radio not working!!!!

Hello,

So I took my 2015 Evo x dash (unplugging the radio ) thinking I was going to mount my new gauge on top but I decided to mount them on my steering column instead. So now after installing my new gauge, my radio doesn't work anymore. I took it apart to make sure all the connection was plugged which it was and still it doesn't work. I heard that the fuse to the dome light might be blown but my dome light works fine. What is the issue? Anyone know?

P.s. The new gauge was tap onto the 10 amp fuse 2nd from the bottom left to the drivers foot

What fuse did you tap into.
Double check radio connectors for folded over pins/pushed out pins.
Using a dvom or test light check all fuses. Related or not to radio. Under dash and hood.

The gauge were tap into #16 fuse in the cabin. All the pins connection looks normal. I do notice there is a # 7 fuse for music. I'll check that tomorrow to see if it's blown but it shouldn't be

Just check all fuses with a test light. You can buy one if you dont have one at harbor freight.

Connect test light to ground. Key on engine on.

Touch each fuse at the metal part you can see on the tops of the fuses.

If the test light illuminates you have power to that leg, now you need to test for power on that same fuse but the other leg.

If only 1 leg of the fuse has power that indicates a open in the fuse and needs to be replaced.

If both legs of the fuse have power its a good fuse.

If both legs dont have power usually it indicates that specific circuit is not being loaded at the moment.

Check all fuses even if not related to the radio.
