Did Mitsubishi ever Change location of AWD on newer models?
I have searched google and forums without finding much information.
I am curious to know if Mitsubishi ever changed the location of the AWD pump that has notoriously failed numerous times on numerous Lancer Evolutions since 2008..
In the 2014/2015 were the AWD pumps placed in the same location under vehicle?

All years for 100k miles. They realized they weren't holding up like they should so they started offering that a year or so ago, a lot of people have since taken advantage of it, but best practice is to get it swapped out, then relocate it and never worry about it again.

Only Basic performance Upgrades have been completed.
I notice looking at a few 2008 Evo's that some rust develops inside the gas filler cap door. I was told by a body shop that this is due to water sitting/pooling in this area and not a great design by mitsubishi.
Alot of new cars such as the civic, have a plastic housing around the gas cap.. Was this ever implemented for the newer Evo's ?
