Nifty battery tester for winter drivers
Nifty battery tester for winter drivers
With the depths of winter upon us, I decided it would be best to pick up a battery tester to check in and see how my and my girlfriends batteries are holding up (both have X's). After all, they are coming up close to 3 and 4 years old respectively.
I picked up the TopDon ArtiBattery101 from Amazon and gave it a shot, instead of driving all the way out to the parts store to have them test it for me. This little gizmo is worth every penny. I was able to do a cranking test and a charging test on both cars in a matter of seconds. My battery came to 42% health, which is about what I expected given the amount of time I've had it. If anyone is curious as to what the current state of their battery is, or want to make sure you don't wake up to a dead battery before work on a 5 degree day, I highly recommend this thing!
BTW, I'm running out of mod ideas so I get overly excited over little things
